Anglesea Music Festival is a not for profit organisation which offers a fun, distinctive, vibrant event. A plethora of extraordinary talented musicians who will share their passion, take you on a journey and fill our venues with exciting amazing compositions for punters to soak up the sounds, get into the vibe and immerse you in the awe of the music. It’s a three day celebration of live music of top quality local, regional, interstate and international acts. It’s the unknown, the discovery, the buzz, the excitement of seeing some of Australia’s finest names with the household names of tomorrow of all genres, in the fabulous seaside environment of Anglesea where the bush meets the sea.

Offering

100 Performers,Six main venues and fringe venues, all within easy walking distance for the festival attendees to enjoy the ambience of the surrounds.

Hands on, creative, inspirational, innovative workshops presented by renowned musicians and this is all included in the price of your ticket.

The Oxygen Youth Marquee - Demonstrations, Competitions, Workshops and talented Youth Performers.

A market offering arts and craft with a multi-cultural food court offering undercover seating.

A collection of street performers/ buskers throughout the precinct.

A Grassroots unsigned competition for all ages and genres with a stacks of prizes and cash giveaways up for grabs.

Training Opportunities-Working together with Oxygen College who already provide training and offer nationally accredited, performance/composition and sound production courses, students will now be able to get the hands on experience within a festival environment both in sound engineering and performance as a stepping stone to developing their careers.

It is truly a bargain festival with all the trimmings on offer. The inaugural festival in 2010 was hailed a raging success, sold out and exceeded the committees expectations with 4500 festival attendees passing through the venues, that doubled the town’s population. In 2011, the rain and wind on the Surf Coast did little to dampen the spirits of the music lovers with stronger crowd numbers once again including local, regional, national and international attendees.
