Anglesea Music Festival 18th-20th October 2013

Performers applications are now open and will close 30th June 2013 with the announcement of the line up in August. Early Bird tickets will be available from 15th July until the 30th August 2013 unless sold out.

Anglesea Music Festival offers a fun, distinctive, vibrant event. A plethora of extraordinarily talented musicians who will share their passion, take you on a journey and fill our venues with amazing compositions for punters to soak up the sounds, get into the vibe and immerse you in the awe of the music. It's a three day celebration of live music. It's the unknown, the discovery, the buzz, the excitement of seeing some of Australia's finest names with the household names of tomorrow of all genres, in the fabulous seaside environment of Anglesea where the bush meets the sea.

The Anglesea Music Festival is just not another music festival. It is an annual gathering of friendly music fans, performers, travelers, locals and a special event in the Surf Coast Calendar. AMF transforms our small community into a vibrate, buzzing, exciting town celebrating live music. During the course of the festival, friendships are made and long time ones renewed, people from around the area meet with those from the other side of the world, and first-timers fall in love with all that Anglesea has to offer.

The inaugural festival in 2010 was hailed a raging success, sold out and exceeded the committees expectations with 4500 festival attendees passing through the venues, that doubled the town's population. In 2011 and 2012, the music lovers created even stronger crowd numbers with 5,000+ people passing through the township. It's sure to be a captivating and exciting event, which will offer something for everyone.

This is a great showcase of the township of Anglesea and all it has to offer. Check out the beautiful surrounds while your here from the main Anglesea Surf Beach or to the calmer, sheltered waters of Point Roadknight Bay and the Anglesea River. Offering boundless opportunities for surfing, swimming, boating, fishing, rock pooling, bush and beach walks.

Also on offer are great shops, cafes and restaurants as well as bowling, surf, golf and tennis clubs. Anglesea is where the bush meets the sea and is well known for its Eastern Grey Kangaroos. This is a Festival in beautiful natural surrounds.

The Anglesea Music Festival is a 3 day celebration, showcasing musicians from all walks of life, and our footprint will be having the mix between grassroots and highly acclaimed performers. It's exciting, it's a reality and it's very affordable; with all that festivals have to offer and very much a festival to attend.

The festival is ultimately an evolution of the very popular and successful local event 'Anglesea Live'.

Headed by a small and dedicated Committee of Management who volunteer their time and expertise, the Anglesea Live event has provided a 'platform' for local musicians to launch their careers from, for over a decade and now is a stepping stone into the festival which takes place during the year - Anglesea Live
