FRIENDS OF THE FESTIVAL TERMS, CONDITIONS AND APPLICATION
VOLUNTEERS
The Anglesea Music Festival 2010 and 2011 saw the coming together of many wonderful individuals who became the AMF 'Friends of the Festival'
Without these volunteers there would be no festival... so on behalf of the festival director Karren Stoneham, the executive committee, the artists and festival goers a HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all of our volunteers!!! We hope you will join us again in 2012!!!
How it works
Split into three groups:THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Responsible for the Creation, Development, Co-ordination, & Running of EVERY ASPECT of the Anglesea Music festival, this small group of dedicated individuals, along with Karren Stoneham (Festival Director) work behind the scenes leading up to the big event and also during the running of AMF.
THE WORKING COMMITTEEWho met weekly in the months leading up to the festival, are very important and were responsible for administration duties such as...

The Bus Route
Posters/Road signs (placement, management & maintenance)
Social networking management
Raffle Ticket sales
And much more!!!
These Volunteers took on many roles and without them the festival wouldn’t run. Their duties include...

There was NOTHING that the AMF friends of the festival didn't do.
The sense of excitement & community togetherness the 'Friends of the Festival' created was electric, it spread like a wildfire around the Anglesea community & added to the vibrant festival atmosphere (we are sure that the bright orange T-shirts must have also played a part in the vibrancy...) but to be part of the friends of the festival please fill out an application form. We would welcome you.
So What is in it for you?
FREE WEEKEND PASS TO THE ANGLESEA MUSIC FESTIVAL
(You pay for your weekend pass at the beginning of the festival; you will then receive a FULL refund after completing your rostered hours (at the conclusion of the festival)
A COMPLIMENTARY 'FRIENDS OF THE FESTIVAL' T-SHIRT
(With the AMF Logo on the front & the Artists/Band Names on the back)
THE CHANCE TO BECOME A PART OF A FRIENDLY, COMMUNITY DRIVEN GROUP WORKING TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL
So What is expected?
Attend the Volunteer Information Session in Anglesea prior to festival
Sign in prior to each rostered shift & collect Festival lanyard
Sign out after each finishing rostered shift & return Festival lanyard
Friends Of The Festival will be helpful & respectful to all AMF patrons, artists, buskers, committee members and authorities at all times.
The AMF is a family environment, as such volunteers MUST NOT use profanity or discuss Adult content openly during their rostered shift & while dressed in the Friends Of The Festival T-Shirt
Friends Of The Festival Will NOT consume alcohol BEFORE or DURING any of their rostered shifts
Friends Of The Festival must wear their 'volunteers; T-Shirts during their rostered shifts. (You must NOT wear your Friends Of The Festival T-shirt before or after shifts in order to make 'working' volunteers distinguishable to patrons & authorities)
Friends Of The Festival volunteers are expected to participate in a minimum of 6 hours work over the duration of the festival to qualify for the 'Free AMF Weekend pass'
It is expected that if a FOTF is suddenly unable to complete his/her rostered shifts, he/she will notify their designated 'Volunteer Co-ordinator' IMMEDIATELY in order to give us time to find a replacement.
